Full Time, Charleston, SC

Salary: $17.50 Hourly.

Join Our Team! – Forklift Operator
 
 In this rol you will Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move products safely and efficiently within the warehouse.

What will you do in this role?

• Operate a forklift to move products and materials throughout the warehouse
• Load and unload trucks using a forklift or other equipment as needed
• Safely transport materials to designated storage areas
• Stack and organize products in the warehouse to maximize space
• Perform routine inspections of forklifts and report any maintenance needs
• Use scanners and computers to track inventory movement
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized warehouse
• Follow all safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor and plant manager

What You Need to Qualify:

• Valid forklift operator certification (Plus)
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
• Previous experience operating forklifts or similar equipment. (At less one year)
• Strong understanding of safety procedures in a warehouse environment
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Good attendance and punctuality
• Attention to detail and accuracy in handling materials

What Physical Activities will you do?

• Constant standing, walking, and sitting while operating a forklift (100% of the time)
• Frequent bending, lifting, pushing, and pulling (70% of the time)
• Must be able to lift, push, and pull over 50 lbs. regularly
